This first nations family has been through recent loss and grief alongside significant familial challenges with Child Safety
This single mother of three children (one teenager and two young children) has cared for her ill father for a number of years, alongside raising her children alone. This had a significant impact on her abilities and capacity causing child safety to intervene - The children are currently residing with the mothers sister for a short period of time. The mothers father (for whom she was caring) has since passed away and her brother passed Friday 04/10/24. This has caused high stress in the family as she is now dealing with the funeral arrangements which is taking its toll.
This family has been displaced due to important repairs that need to be completed on their department of housing home and need support to reestablish themselves. Please reach out if you're able to support this family.
