Young single mum (to be) left with severe mental health issues and a brain injury after DV situation, now in own home.
Single, young, first time mum to be (due in 6 weeks!) who comes from a severe domestic violence situation. This young woman in her late 20's has just been granted her own unit through department of housing after seven years of being homeless on the streets and living in a crisis care shelter for 4 months. She lives alone and has no support from family or friends, she is isolated and lonely. She suffers with mental health concerns such as CPTSD, Anxiety, Agoraphobia and has been left with a severe brain injury caused by family violence. She receives a DSP but is unable to work due to an impending birth and her mental health issues. She is looking for support to furnish her new home with her new baby.
