After leaving their home country, the family arrived in Australia in 2023 and were living in overcrowded, unhealthy, and unsafe accommodation. This environment put the family at risk of homelessness, until they were offered a transitional property to find their feet and start to move toward a stable and secure future. The mother of the family has just begun an unpaid placement to begin work experience, however, this places the family in a difficult position financially. The mother is looking to keep her children safe and healthy during this time.
