38yo single mother with 5 kids, history of FDV, looking for support to get basic essential home items
38yo single mother has escaped FDV with her 5 children after experiencing DV from the father of her children. The trauma caused one child to leave home, adding a huge amount of extra stress and anxiety to the mother.
As this was not a tenable situation for herself & the children, she accepted a three-bedroom property, to provide safety and stability to her family, with the understanding she would still be on the priority list for a four-bedroom property to accommodate all of her children. She has now moved into a 4 bedroom home & the child will be coming back home. She is a very strong women raising her 5 children on her own. She is juggling between her studies, volunteering & looking for a job. She is also seeking help from counsellors to get through this difficult situation. Nevertheless, with a bit of a help, we feel confident that she will be able to rebuild her life as she has demonstrated her willingness to improve her situation. Any offers of support would be much appreciated
