Young mum in North Queensland, wanting to better herself and her son
Young mum with 1 year old son. Living in North Queensland and currently having a struggle due to damage done to her vehicle and home during the recent, and ongoing flooding in her hometown. Is returning to study to better herself and build a better life for her little family. Has been accepted into Certificate III in Childcare, some study in the classroom, however a majority of it is online. She is in desperate need of a laptop to enable her to complete the online components of her study. Unfortunately, she is not in the financial position to purchase one herself currently and would appreciate any support she could possibly get at this time. Assistance to purchase a laptop and stationary items required would be very much appreciated. Her vehicle was damaged during the flooding causing significant damage, her car seat was also damaged and has gone moldy as has the interior of her car, she was declined her disaster claim with Centrelink and is unsure why. Any help would be a blessing!
