Assistance for football team in Yungngora

During the '23 Kimberley Floods Yungngora was cut off from main access routes & was resupplied with food & essential items via helicopter. Throughout '23 Football was not played within Fitzroy Crossing contributing to community isolation, missed connections & a lack of physical outlets for community. With the resumption of the football season in '24 these connections were reestablished, & community life began to return to ‘normal’. With the lack of football in '23 funds were limited with the community utilising old jumpers to play in in '24. As the community rebuilds its football teams the Community would like to purchase new jerseys for their men’s & women’s football sides to compete in the '25 CKFBL season. The community is in the early stages of forming a recognised & incorporated sports club on community to be able to apply for future funding opportunities more effectively & enable the community to run its own sporting competitions.
