Woman & 10 yo daughter living in Motel after leaving a D&FV situation, motel is small with no cooking facilities.
This 40 year old woman and her daughter were living with her son and his partner, they both left her son's home due to constant D&FV confrontations, she reached out to charities for support and was given a motel room. Her son is hostile, his rage is fuelled by his girlfriend. Her son became more and more aggressive and threatening and had no choice but to leave. She has not got too many options with regard housing and is on Centrelink benefits. This woman has no means of transport and getting in and out of the motel by public transport is not easy. Her daughter suffers from severe food allergies and they have no cooking facilities in the motel room. This woman is looking for support in the way of a air fryer, frying pan or microwave to enable her to cook inside the motel room, food and clothing is also required. It won't help her situation long term but it may make her feel better whilst we seek accommodation on her behalf.
