Serious physical health issues and economic hardship having a deleterious effect on mental health.

I am an older person, I live on my own and maintaining a modicum of independence is important to me. I have been diagnosed with cataracts and have referrals into the public health system for suspected colorectal surgery and autoimmune issues. I experience economic barriers and receive the disability support pension. Keeping myself mentally stimulated and being connected with the world at large are fundamental to my mental health and daily wellbeing and are very important to me.

Seeking a laptop for casual computing, that can connect to the internet with immediate security benefits (such as facial recognition and if possible finger print security). Preferably would like Windows (11) operating system and would like a keyboard and track pad (not a tablet). This will help her maintain independence and connections to supports for health conditions.
