Lady unable to move back to her home at Wujal Wujal
Respected family member of a property south of Wujal Wujal were evacuated from flooding and landslides in Degarra. 15 months on, she still cannot move into her house and has been unable to receive the Strucutral Assistance Grant to fix their home. She has been unwell and in and out of hospital since the floods and has finally found a house to move into in Cooktown which is the closest she can be to her community in Wujal Wujal, one hour and a half away.
