Effected by the floods 2022 & 2024 Struggling mentally and financially with no idea of when her insurance will come through.
This lady is struggling financially and mentally due to having to pay her mortgage on her property and rent for the place she is staying in now with her son. After 14v months her insurance company have finally offered her a payout with the help of a paid financial counsellor. The insurance payout wis substantially less than the cost to rebuild my client's house along with many other repairs outside of her property. My client lost everything in her home due to the floods all the contents of her home as well as sentimental items, furniture and clothing. My client also lost new materials bought for the repairs of her home which was damaged in the Jan 2024 floods. She is struggling mentally as this is taking such a toll on her mental health as well as trying to care for her mother and has now taking in her grandchild who lives with her is under a lot of stress. My client would be very grateful for any help that she can receive during this time. Thank you.
