Elderly pensioner cannot live in his house after power pole fell in driveway and damaged the house in TC Alfred
This elderly man, living alone has hearing loss. When TC Alfred struck, a power pole fell across his driveway trapping him at home for 5 days. He eventually went to stay with his daughter and when he returned home, he returned to the devastation which was upsetting. As a result of the damage, he needs a lot of outside items replaced, like gates, rainwater tank, carpets and flooring need replacing, so he is then able to live there again. This is outside what he can afford and assistance would be very much appreciated.
