New year is coming and the family needs a refrigerator
I would like to highlight the situation of a pregnant Afghan refugee who is currently facing significant financial hardship. She has a 2-year-old son and is expecting another child, and her mother-in-law also lives with them, making it a family of five. Despite her best efforts, their current refrigerator is far too small to meet the needs of their growing family. A larger refrigerator would make a tremendous difference in easing the daily challenges they face, allowing her to store food safely and reduce the burden of frequent trips to the store. With limited resources, this small but vital addition to her household would greatly improve her quality of life and provide much-needed support as she prepares to care for her expanding family.
