Support a young woman with a disability to access meaningful employment and overcome participation barriers!
We’re currently supporting a young woman with a disability who is also a parent, as she works towards her goal of gaining meaningful employment. She has a passion for public speaking and advocacy, and has recently been invited to contribute to workshops and research projects that aim to improve services for parents with disabilities.
While these opportunities are unpaid, they offer valuable experience, professional connections, and the potential to open doors for future employment. Her involvement not only supports her personal development, but also helps raise the voices of women in similar situations.
As a small community organisation, we don’t have the resources to remove the practical barriers that limit her ability to participate, or to acknowledge her time and contribution financially.
