A long battle ahead but always smiling
A young boy in regional Australia was diagnosed with leukaemia 3 years ago.... today he continues to battle the disease daily, bravely always smiling and remaining positive. At 13 years old, he is an inspiration to many.
But these 3 years have taken a toll not eh family, the mother is a full time carer, travelling to and from medical appointments, there on the hard days to comfort, constantly advocating and navigating the constant demands of medical appointments, medications and medical teams.
dad has been the breadwinner, working as farm labourer, earning a modest but consistent salary, the family have always worked hard to remain independent and make ends meet. However, over teh Christmas period he was made redundant. Placing immense pressure on the entire family unit. We are seeking assistance to help see them through these challenging days. The redundancy has impacted the father mental health significantly.
