Child requiring a laptop to commence grade 7 in 2025.
Looking for a laptop for a young person that is starting High School in 2025, they have a diagnosis of ASD and fine motor challenges, it has been recommended by their OT that for a higher chance of success at school that they use a laptop. This young person is 1 of 4 children that have experienced DFV, parental incarceration and low socio economic, this young person and family have faced disadvantage after disadvantage when it comes to excelling in areas such as employment, school and adequate mental health support. Due to the socio-economic background of the family and history of DFV and mental illness they are not able to source a laptop themselves. This young person and family are really keen on allowing their young person the best chance at excelling on their new journey into high school education.
