A single mum with 3 children who escaped from DV and moved to the temporal accommodation
A single mum and 3 children recently escaped from DV and moved to the temporal safe place under the support of Department of Housing. There were ongoing DV from her ex-partner but she did not take an action as she did not want to affect her children. However, in this time she has courage to disconnect the abusive relationship with her ex-partner and moved onto the new pathways to secure their safe life.
Due to being placed in a distance from children's school she needs to drop them off and pick them up from school. Also she requires to pay a rent in temporal accommodation which made her extra cost, tool.
Mum is financially struggling to pay rent, fuel and children's food. However, she is doing her best to provide good care to children until they could get the long term accommodation by the Department of housing.
It would be greatly appreciated if she could get food voucher to feed her children.
