Homeless family facing complex needs gains housing, but has no capacity to fund furniture and household items
Single mother and two children have been in emergency accommodation for 18 months after experiencing family and domestic violence. Family have experienced significant trauma and mother struggles with alcohol addiction and mental health, but is addressing this with support. Children have not been able to attend school consistently due to constant moves between motels and Mum not having a car to provide transport.
The family have been lucky enough to secure housing, however don't have the finances to set up a home.
