A young woman who has had a traumatic life wants to learn to surf as part of her healing journey
Traumatic life and was taken from her family at a very young age and placed into foster care. She has severe mental health issues and significant trauma, is healing through therapy and linking in for mental health supports, however is unable to afford things such as a surfboard to be able to focus on herself and be able to gain some confidence back through sport. She sees taking up surfing as part of her healing journey
