This 46 year old female escaped two decades of domestic violence in PNG by finding refuge in Australia. She is currently studying a Disability and Aged Care Course which will enable her to to upgrade/validate her Nurse Practitioner and Midwifery degree from PNG to enable her to work in Australia. This woman has significant experience and has contributed greatly to the community as a health practitioner in PNG. She is looking forward to the opportunity to do the same in Australia. She is seeking support to assist with her studies to reach her goal of validating her degree to work in Australia. This woman has been struggling from long term effects of two decades of DV, it has impacted her mental and physical health to a point where she needs to travel to the hospital on a weekly basis for medical reviews.
