Lost everything to the flood including their beloved pet dog. Trying to rebuild and get back to some sort of normality
As the Bloomfield River burst its banks in the middle of the night the river rose at incredible speed and the couple with their dog had to swim out of window to get up on the roof for where they stayed for 10 hours while the river raged around them. They lost their beloved dog to the river as well as their ducks, quails and chickens.
In the morning they sat through a terrifying lightning storm and waited for help to come which didn't arrive.
Both are traumatised by the event and are trying to rebuild their lives. Both are battlers and need assistance.
