Brand new accommodation supporting refugees and asylum seekers identifying as LGBTQIA+ needing household items
Our organisation is in the process of setting up a transitional property for refugee/asylum seekers who identify as LGBTQIA+. The tenants we are looking to support in this property have been experiencing homelessness after fleeing war and torture. They are also highly vulnerable due to their uncertain visas and at times may not have any work rights or any form of income.
To be able to prepare for our first tenants, we require household items, such as:
-a fridge
-a washing machine
-lounge
-beds x 2
-coffee / dining table and chairs
-kitchen appliances and cooking utensils
We have limited capacity to transport items, so assistance with delivery is ideal.
