Flood affected family of 5. House was badly damaged from floods & has taken 2 1/2 years to be repaired & raised.

The family were flooded in 2022, and out of their home for the following 2.5 years during which time they were moving around and using the laundromat to wash their clothes. They were hoping their old washing machine would still work. They moved back in last year, but the laundry was only operational just before Christmas which is when they finally got to see if the machine still worked and found that it doesn't. Mother could only work part time for the 2.5 year period due to having to manage the rebuild of their house through insurance and house raise through the resilient home program. Seeking support to purchase a new washing machine to replace the flood damaged one.
