Many newborns and toddlers in care will face their first Christmas without a gift. Help us bring joy to the youngest in need.

The Christmas 4 Kids in Care program brings the magic of Christmas to children in out-of-home care by providing carefully curated Santa Packs. These packs ensure that vulnerable children, from newborns to 17-year-olds, experience the joy of receiving gifts, even when their circumstances make it difficult. This year, we are aiming to give gifts to 7,020 Victorian children who might otherwise go without, giving them something special to unwrap on Christmas morning.

Newborns and toddlers in care, especially boys under 2, are often overlooked in donation drives. These young children, at a critical stage of development, deserve to feel love, warmth, and comfort during the holiday season. By contributing to this request, you’re helping us ensure that even the littlest ones in care have a magical Christmas, filled with gifts that promote security, joy, and belonging. Your generosity can make a profound impact, showing these children they are not forgotten.

For Babies (0-6 Months) – Unisex Gifts:

Clothing:
- Soft onesies or bodysuits
- Sleepers or pajamas with fun patterns
- Receiving blankets or swaddles

Toys:
- Soft plush toys or stuffed animals
- Teething rings or soft teethers
- Sensory toys that crinkle, rattle, or have textures

Books:
- Board books with bright colors and simple images
- Cloth books that are soft and safe for infants

Feeding Essentials:
- Bibs with fun designs or patterns
- Baby feeding utensils or bowls

For Toddlers (7 Months to 2 Years) – Gifts for Boys:

Toys:

- Building blocks (e.g., Mega Bloks or Duplo)
- Interactive toys that promote learning (e.g., shape sorters, stacking toys)
- Push toys or ride-on toys to encourage movement

Books:
- Board books with interactive elements (lift-the-flap or sound books)
- Storybooks featuring boys as characters or adventures

Outdoor Play:
- Small beach balls or inflatable toys
- Toy gardening sets (shovels, rakes, etc.)
- Water play toys for bathtime fun

Art Supplies:
- Non-toxic crayons or washable markers
- Large drawing pads or coloring books
- Playdough sets in various colors

Please note these gifts are only a guide to spark your inspiration, and not an exhaustive list. All donations to our Christmas program must be in new condition.
