Air conditioner
Elderly lady who has suffered loss through floods and deaths in the family, needs an air conditioner for health reasons.
Elderly lady who was severely impacted by 2022 flooding is living on a rural property. Has recently suffered a lot of loss, including through flooding and losing a number of family members. Is experiencing financial hardship as she continues repairs of flood related damage, has inherited a large rates bill with council and is going into debt to pay for legal costs. She is being assisted to link into an Aged Care Package and access home care supports but struggles with pneumonitis in the heat and her package cannot provide funding for an air conditioner. Would be grateful for assistance to get an air conditioning unit for her bedroom.
