Family with young daughter impacted by 2024 fires and storms.
Family needed to evacuate on several occasions causing financial hardship and returned to minor damage to their home where embers had entered the home and damage to their hot water service and solar panels. Father was working in the recovery space on a casual basis but due to the impact for his family and on his own mental health he needed to take off work which has resulted in recent loss of employment causing additional financial stress on the family especially during this festive season as they are now relying on one wage to cover the mortgage and all other living expenses.
