Travel a km by torchlight in torrential rain until they needed to tie up to a tree for 3 hours until daylight as the current was too strong to navigate in the dark in the flooded Daintree River which is crocodile infested.
House was inundated by at least 2 meters of water as the Daintree River hit the highest ever level approx. 14.5 mtrs. Needed to leave home quickly without taken personal effects therefore lost everything they own uninsured). The house has sustained considerable damage. #outdoorplayequipment
