Local Hobart Charity Urgent Need: Mums Escaping Domestic Violence and Homelessness

We have 12 young mums and their babies living with us currently.

These young mums have experienced significant trauma and are most often escaping domestic or family violence or homelessness.

We are able to give Mum and her child a one bedroom apartment in a supported living community providing round the clock care.

Our mums share a common living space to relax and unwind away from their small apartments, as well as shared laundry facilities and a shared Children's Playroom.

We offer activities and educational opportunities for the Mums - such as cooking lessons, driving lessons, First Aid, crafts, etc.

This program is completely funded by donations from the community and is vital to supporting young mums in need.
