Client's home destroyed in Bushfire and loss of all belongings.
22nd October update: The client now has electricity reconnected to his property and is keen to get some whitegoods. Still living in the caravan.
13 June update: Writer visited client at his destroyed property and gained a more comprehensive picture of his profound losses. The client is still trying to figure out a pathway forward and to keep warm in a caravan over Winter. Unfortunately, the client did not have any insurance. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
A person that lives alone had their uninsured home destroyed by bushfire and lost all of their belongings. Now faced with the difficult task of trying to navigate a way forward to rebuild their life. The person is temporarily living in a caravan on the burnt out property as they try to come to terms with the devastation.
The person is motivated to stay in the area and wants to "get on with things", but is finding it very difficult financially.
Any assistance would be much appreciated.
