The recipient and her children are living conditions that are negatively impacting their well-being.

The recipient and her four children are living in overcrowded and unstable conditions in a 3-bedroom house with her mother, sister, and her sister's children. Despite her gratitude for her mother's support, the situation has taken a toll on the recipient and her children's physical and mental well-being. The recipient has had to take on significant caregiving responsibilities while navigating her own safety concerns, as two abusive ex-partners are aware of her current address. The children face a range of challenges, including ADHD, suspected ASD, developmental delays, and attachment issues exacerbated by their environment. Two of her children require additional testing to access NDIS support, and one struggles with school attendance due to their father's disruptive behaviour. The recipient is seeking stable housing and has applied for Housing ACT. With support from domestic violence services, she is working on safety planning and securing her family's future.
