Family of 7 in severe financial hardship. Bushfire destroyed half of farmland representing total loss of income.
Family were evacuated on two occasions due to fires which destroyed half of their farmland and fencing. Recovery costs are in the many hundreds of thousands and only minimally covered by insurance. The family have refinanced to fund their recovery costs and restore their future income leaving them in debt and financial stress. Meeting daily living expenses is an overwhelming challenge at this time. Receipt of food, fuel and Kmart voucher for children’s clothing would greatly alleviate the trauma of such huge loss.
