Urgent Request for Composting Toilet Assistance for Bushfire Survivor

Dire situation of a vulnerable woman who lost her home and belongings in the devastating bushfire that occurred in August 2023, who is ineligible for any Govt grants or assistance as her dwelling was DA approved.

Currently, she is living in a makeshift shed that is not entirely weatherproof with no access to water or heating, compounding the challenges she faces daily. Given the circumstances, we believe that providing a composting toilet would significantly improve her living conditions and contribute to her overall well-being. Client will be experiencing her second Christmas in a makeshift shed.

Your assistance in this matter would go a long way in helping her regain a sense of dignity.
