The rental property they occupied sustained significant damage to the roof when a tree came down on the home, and a large amount of water entered, causing damage to the property and its contents, rendering it uninhabitable. Already under significant financial pressure as a single parent with his own mental health concerns, and a special need child, means this family are experiencing compounding adversities.
After staying with family, they have secured another rental property and are looking to move in but require assistance to replace a few household items. Resident did not have insurance, so any assistance provided would be greatly appreciated and have a tremendous impact on the ability of this family to move forward.
