Our service is seeking temporary financial relief for a young single parent who was recently reunified with their child and has just relocated to re-start their family. The parent has been collaborating well with services to ensure that the child's complex needs are met and that a healthy parent-child relationship is restored for a functional family.
As the parent and the child have just moved into their new public housing home, our service would like to help them purchase some essential items to make the home as liveable as possible.
We would like to assist the family with department store and grocery gift cards as temporary financial relief, to allow them to focus on the many tasks ahead of them without having to constantly worry about day-to-day basics, particularly before Christmas.
