Community member is currently living on a disability pension and faces the daily challenges of Parkinson's disease. Due to significant health issues, she is housebound, which limits her ability to engage with the outside world. Currently her only interactions socially is with her daughter, her full time care giver.
Their television was a lifeline for maintaining mental well-being, offering entertainment and a sense of connection to the world beyond their home. Unfortunately, the TV has recently broken, leaving them without this vital source of comfort.
Living in a remote area adds to the difficulties they face, with limited access to other forms of entertainment or community engagement. Replacing the television would make a meaningful difference in their life, helping to alleviate isolation and improve their mental health during difficult times. Your support could provide them with a much-needed sense of normalcy and joy.
