A female on aged pension in the Hervey Bay area lost most contents due to TC Alfred & most treasured was the sewing equipment
A female lives in a caravan which was flooded by the TC Alfred cyclone event in the Hervey Bay region. the contents in the Annex were destroyed. This included sewing/cutting table, sewing cabinet, and many other essential and non essential household items that assist her throughout day to day living. She is on an aged pension and she injured her back in a fall during the weather event and is going to Brisbane for a heart operation as well as dealing with injury. She has limited mobility and the sewing is her main emotional release.
