Young man working hard to restart his life and regain custody of his small children after the suicide of his partner
My client has lived through a series of traumas including being the victim of domestic violence and the suicide of this partner. He started self-medicating with various drugs to cope with the pain and the grief. This led to addiction, the removal of their small children from his care and to many months of homelessness.
He has dealt with his addiction and completed rehab. He is currently doing parenting, grief and behavior courses and is extremely determined and focused on getting his children back.
He is signing a 12 month lease on a transitional property and is on a journey to a brand new life with his children in his not too distant future.
He currently owns no belongings and will need assistance with all the basics; fridge, washing machine, bed, mattress, sofa, table chairs etc.
