Young person has just moved into her own public housing property
Young person has been a carer for her mentally ill mother for the last 10 years. Young person has been fighting for 4 years to get her own property so that she can take care of her mother and herself while having some respite. This young person's life will change for the better moving forward from here as this young person has set tents up in parks with her dog for respite from her mother at times. Young person finally was given the keys to her new property last week, just 3 minutes from her mother's house. Young person has gone and sourced all secondhand furniture and white goods to set herself up. The property has come with no curtains and young person would like access to some small vouchers to buy curtains, towels, tea towels, washing basket, kitchen ware and food for Christmas, all the little things that make her house a home.
Anything that can be contributed to her buying some new things will be greatly appreciated.
