Many people are only 6 payslips away from homelessness. Their job is gone, their savings are gone and they have no family support. There is a misconception that people who are homeless are drug addicts or alcoholics. This is not true. Bad luck happens to good people and when they have nowhere else to go they end up in the city parks and under bridges.
