Young mum experiencing ongoing FDV in need of self care this Christmas
This beautiful 21 year old is an incredibly nurturing and loving mum to her 1 year old son, but is struggling due to experiencing family and domestic violence daily. This mum is battling with self esteem and self worth as she is receiving criticism and abuse every day, and is worried about the impact on her parenting. This mum struggles with mental health and loves coming in for appointments as it gives her an hour to focus just on herself, and we've spoke about ways that she can build on that outside appointments. This mum shared that she used to love going for bike rides when she had a bike as it gave her a sense of peace and helped her feel good about herself, which feels critically important now considering her diminshed self esteem. With your help and kindness, we'd love her to be gifted with a voucher so she can go buy herself a mountain bike and helmet this Christmas, and start her new year with a new daily routine to help her be as well, nurtured, and supported as possible.
