Recipient had significant damage and loss of belongings due to Tropical Cyclone Alfred.

During Tropical Cyclone Alfred recipient lost power for 3 days with 3 adults and 2 children in the house, losing all food from 2 fridges and 2 freezers. Recipient was unable to buy any food at this time due to the shops being closed. Recipient and her 2 adult children were unable to get to work due to roads being closed and cyclonic conditions. Recipient was unable to claim any loss of income. Due to high levels of wind and rain, recipient's home was significantly damaged and they lost a high amount of personal belongings. Recipient lost internet and phone reception.
