Card and Wrapping Paper workshop for families doing it tough. Clients can visit for gift wrapping assistance and a chat.

There are many families in hardship due to cost-of-living increases, on top of existing vulnerabilities of addiction, refugees/migrants, family domestic violence, unemployment and economic hardship. With Christmas coming up, these families are in even more stress as they can't afford Christmas presents or cards and wrapping paper. We are hosting a series of workshops for the community to ease the pressure of Christmas by providing opportunities to get free presents and make their own cards and wrapping paper. The cards and wrapping paper workshop provide arts and crafts activities for children of families who can't afford arts/crafts materials and connection for the parents. The workshops are also great for social interaction and companionship.
