Single mum of two girls with a disability has no money for food or clothes to fit her large sized girls, or sanitary items.

I visited a parent this morning whose year 9 daughter (who is size 24-26) with a severe ASD disability was unable to attend school as they had no food or sanitary items. I provided them with food and sanitary items through my own church. The student's teacher attended with me, and we discovered the younger daughter (also ASD) was in the same situation of not being able to attend school due to also getting her period and there being no food. The teacher has been trying to buy some clothing for this student from op shops, but it is finding this really difficult to obtain such big sizes.

Student with intellectual and physical disabilities has started school today with her last set of clothes that fit her. She has grown and requires a size 26 women. She is year 11. Mum is unable to purchase any clothing for her again. A concerned staff member has asked if GIVIT might help again, as they did previously.
When she sat on the swing today her pants split and there was someone's bike pants available which are not appropriate for school.
