Client is a single Mother who is only able to work part-time due to her dependent children having developmental delays..

Client has found herself in a very hard place, trying to care for her two sons as a single parent and being forced to pay private rent, in a difficult and inflated rental crisis. She is only able to work part-time as her youngest child is developmentally delayed and her eldest son has severe mental health issues, his been diagnosed as depressed and won't leave the house due to his anxiety. She is holding on by a thread financially and the mental exhaustion of constantly worrying about money and being able to keep a roof over her family's head is starting to take its toll.
Our goal is to get her permanently housed in affordable accommodation with a social housing provider in our area.
Her youngest son is in high school and he desperately needs new shoes, he has picked out a pair of shoes that his friends are all wearing. She can not afford to buy him the shoes he wants and this makes her feel angry and upset, at their ongoing struggle to survive. Life shouldn't be this hard!
