Single mother caring for disadvantaged son impacted when TC Alfred caused flooding and electrical damage
This single mother is renting, and cares for her 16 year old son who has a disability. She has other adult children living in the house with her also. During TC Alfred the power was lost and the flood water entered their garage where they had a lot of personal belongings stored. All of these have had to be thrown out and she is now facing financial hardship to replace items that were lost. Caring for her son is the priority right now.
