This condition necessitates constant monitoring of her blood sugar levels, often leading to episodes of low blood sugar that require immediate attention. The client reports waking up several times a night to monitor and medicate her daughter, balancing her sugar levels with food, which disturbs the household and disrupts sleep for everyone. Additionally, the family faces difficulties with their son, who struggles to self-regulate his emotions, especially in environments that offer limited privacy and space for him to decompress.
