UPDATE 16/1/25
- Woman with 2 sons, 1 on NDIS & the other with ongoing mental health, has found a permanent rental to move into post 3 years in emergency accommodation & POD accommodation. Rental is 50km away from current accommodation & woman has done numerous trips & ongoing until moved, as well as paying double rent at pods & new rental whilst transitioning. Seeking fuel support.
UPDATE
- Woman has had a very difficult flood recovery due to having cancer diagnosis just before the floods hit and receiving ongoing treatment and multiple surgeries. Woman is now looking at more surgeries which is heavily impacted on her mental health & also causing quite severe economic hardship.
Woman is struggling to buy food, which is one of her health supports that she is able to control. Seeking support to help free up money for medical expenses & bring back some dignity at such a difficult time.
Woman also has her autistic son living with her, for who she is the primary carer.
