Tweed Heads family that were flood affected are still feeling the financial impacts from the event. They are in need of a musical instrument as well as back to school supports. Hiring a musical instrument through their school is not an option for this grade level and the parents are unable to afford this expense on their own. Recovery from the floods has placed a financial strain on this family as they struggled to replace many items. This, on top of the increased cost of living has made purchasing essential and back to school items difficult for this family.
