Much needed support for mental health consumer & asylum seeker who can't access financial support
I am asking for gift card donations for an asylum seeker & consumer accessing acute mental health support. Due to current restrictions on their visa, they are not eligible for Medicare or any financial support. They are also unable to gain employment/work, study or earn an income. Recently, they have not been eating to assist with the current financial stress.
As the holiday period approaches, access to support for them will decrease. We hope that through your donations, they will be able to access groceries and day to day expenses. This will provide financial relief and reduce some of the stress they are experiencing.
