2022 floods - Major damage to house and loss of contents

My client and her three children lost almost all of their belongings in the Feb 2022 floods. Their house has also sustained major damage, including water ingress, mould and rot.

The family are Family & Domestic Violence survivors. The mother only just survived a stroke and her son broke his neck all in the same time period. The mum had 7 surgeries in 10 months.

After two years of insurance problems and all of these setbacks, I'm trying to help them repiece their lives, starting with a few belongings. Money is short for them and the struggle is real.

Glasses - client needs expensive prescription glasses. She hasn't had a working pair for roughly a year and has been using an old, scratched pair of prescription sunglasses which she can hardly see through, but hasn't got the money to buy new ones.
