Client has been roughing it in the Woodburn region since being flooded out of Cabbage Tree Island area from the floods of 2022 with her family of 6. She has slowly been housed up the coast in motels and roughing it with family every so often when the Motels had no vacancies and has finally been placed in a house in the Tweed Heads region. Although she is grateful for the house she has received she has been finding it tough to find supports in the way of furnishing the house and finding necessary household items. Our organisation has attempted to source things but with the cost of living crisis and financial strain, she understands anything that can help would be a great benefit.
